Systems Engineer - Setting to Work
Shape, influence and take ownership of system commissioning and process improvement in a defence environment. Develop practical solutions and enhance efficiency across manufacturing and testing.
The role is expected to combine systems studies and hands on investigation and experimentation in the laboratories and would suit someone seeking an opportunity for some hand on equipment experience.
What you will need
• British nationality
• Security clearance (SC) clearable
• Systems engineering experience within defence
• Experience supporting manufacturing or equipment commissioning
Salary and rewards
Up to £52,500 with company bonus up to £2,500
What you will be doing
• Co-ordinates between design teams and manufacturing, developing procedures to allow equipment to be commissioned.
• Undertake lab-based investigation and experimentation
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation
• Support current and future capability delivery in multi-disciplinary teams
Your profile
• Hardware–software interface understanding
• Configuration control knowledge
• Multi-disciplinary team collaboration
• Experience in transition to manufacture
