Algorithms Engineer
Salary: £45,000–£58,000 depending on experience
Location: Stevenage or Bristol (typically 4 days a week on-site per week)
Work on advanced RF seeker and sensing technology within a technically demanding engineering environment as an Algorithms Engineer. The role offers exposure to complex weapons systems work across algorithm development, modelling, system studies and performance analysis.
This position would suit someone who enjoys solving difficult engineering problems, working across disciplines, and contributing to the development of high-performance systems in the defence sector.

You will be responsible for:
- Developing, refining and validating algorithms for complex seeker and sensing applications
- Running technical investigations, analysing results, and using evidence to support design changes and performance improvements
- Working with multidisciplinary teams to integrate algorithms into system models and assess overall system behaviour
We are looking for experience in:
- Algorithm development
- MATLAB
- Planning and conducting investigations to inform systems design
- Data analysis
- RF systems and digital signal processing would be highly desirable, as would be the use of Simulink
- Security requirements: you must be a British Citizen eligible for high level security clearance
