Unreal Engine Developer

Essential requirements
- Sole British nationality is required due to security constraints.
- Eligibility to undergo UK Security Clearance to SC level.
- Demonstrable experience in Virtual Reality development and game technologies.
- Strong proficiency in Unreal Engine and a working knowledge of C .
What you will be doing
- Providing the core coding architecture to support the simulation development team.
- Designing and documenting technical infrastructure to integrate game technologies across classified and unclassified networks.
- Ensuring robust back-up systems and high code quality using industry standard practices.
- Collaborating with sub-contractors and change teams to deliver projects within deadlines.
- Conducting horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies and modern software solutions.
Skills and background
- A degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent industry experience.
- Practical knowledge of software packages including Source Control and Visual Studio.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts in meetings.
- A self-motivated approach with the drive to manage tasks independently.
