Site Manager Mechanical - Overseas

Lead mechanical delivery on major international infrastructure projects while gaining exposure to complex programmes that offer genuine responsibility and variety. What you will need

• HNC, HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Significant experience managing mechanical installation works on construction or infrastructure projects
• SMSTS qualification or equivalent site management certification
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and mechanical building services systems
• Experience managing subcontractors and site-based delivery teams

What you will be doing

• Lead all mechanical installation and construction activities across large-scale overseas infrastructure projects
• Manage site teams, subcontractors and locally employed personnel to achieve programme milestones
• Coordinate mechanical works with civil, structural and electrical disciplines
• Monitor safety, quality, programme performance and contractual compliance throughout delivery
• Support commissioning, testing and project handover activities
• Build strong working relationships with project stakeholders and client representatives

What you bring

• Proven mechanical site management experience within construction, engineering or infrastructure environments
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation
• Strong project planning, organisation and problem-solving capability
• Experience managing quality assurance, testing and inspection activities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working on overseas, defence, government or secure infrastructure projects would be advantageous

Where you will work

Africa (Lagos) rotational deployment pattern of 14 weeks overseas followed by 3 weeks rotational leave.
