Simulation and Modelling Engineer – Defence Systems
Salary: £50,000–£55,000 Dependent on Experience
Location: Bristol – 4–5 Days per Week On-Site

As a Simulation and Modelling Engineer, you will integrate complex system models to support a variety of stakeholders, including performance engineers, training teams, and in-service support units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on multiple high-profile projects, gaining a comprehensive understanding of advanced defence platforms
- Develop and integrate system-level models using tools such as Simulink.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support engineering development and validation.
- Contribute to the creation of synthetic environments for training and simulation purposes.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- A good understanding of simulation environments (e.g. MATLAB and Simulink, or similar) and programming languages (e.g. FORTRAN, C/C++).
- Understanding of change and configuration control processes is considered an advantage (e.g. Rational Team Concert).
- Ability to identify and solve sophisticated problems and gather the information needed to drive through to ultimate solutions.
- Practical knowledge of basic systems engineering principles and processes.
- Ability to visualise and analyse complex systems.
- You must be a British Citizen eligible for high level security clearance.
