What you will need
- British nationality essential to meet site regulations
- Advanced capability in C#/.NET, Java, Rust or Python
- Track record of designing and delivering complex software solutions
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical decisions to key stakeholders
- Aptitude - we want experienced engineers who want to push technology to its limits, at pace. This means we want to hear from you, even if your skills differ slightly from the spec but have some great experience to offer

- Architect and deliver resilient software solutions for high-stakes technical problems in defence
- Partner directly with domain experts to translate complex challenges into robust code
- Evaluate and integrate emerging tools to maintain high engineering standards
- Drive continuous improvement across core codebase architecture and delivery pipelines
- Deep software engineering foundation with a strong academic background in a technical discipline
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code across low-latency or complex enterprise environments
- Strategic problem-solving mindset with a commitment to engineering excellence
- Exposure to high-throughput platforms or financial services technology is advantageous
