Functional Systems Engineer - Requirements
You will shape and manage requirements for complex defence systems while developing your systems engineering career. This role offers the opportunity to work across challenging engineering activities with clear ownership and technical responsibility.
What you will need
Up to £57,000 depending on experience, plus access to a company bonus scheme.
What you will be doing
You will enjoy practical benefits including:
Bristol, with a hybrid working pattern requiring three days onsite per week.

- Systems engineering experience in defence environments
- Requirements management and derivation experience
- Experience using systems engineering tools
- Strong technical communication skills

- Capture and develop customer needs into structured requirements
- Support system, subsystem and software requirement definition
- Manage requirements changes through controlled processes
- Support technical investigations and engineering trade activities
- Communicate system concepts across engineering and customer teams
- Requirements management and traceability
- Systems engineering lifecycle experience
- Engineering change control processes
- DOORS, DOORS NG or similar tools
- Stakeholder engagement across technical teams
- Complex system development experience
