The Role
We are recruiting for a Systems Engineer to support the development, integration and delivery of complex engineering capabilities.
The role will have a particular focus on propulsion solutions, sub-system integration and uncrewed aerial systems. You will provide Systems Engineering expertise across the lifecycle, working from requirements and system design through integration, verification, validation and in-service support.

You will have broad Systems Engineering experience and a track record of delivering successful technical outcomes. Experience in several of the following areas would be beneficial:

The Role
We are recruiting for a Systems Engineer to support the development, integration and delivery of complex engineering capabilities.
The role will have a particular focus on propulsion solutions, sub-system integration and uncrewed aerial systems. You will provide Systems Engineering expertise across the lifecycle, working from requirements and system design through integration, verification, validation and in-service support.
What will you be doing?
- Delivering Systems Engineering activities across complex engineering programmes
- Managing and developing system requirements
- Supporting system architecture and design activities
- Applying Systems Thinking and appropriate Systems Engineering methodologies
- Supporting the integration of systems and sub-systems
- Managing technical risks and resolving complex engineering issues
- Planning and supporting verification, validation, test and evaluation activities
- Providing technical advice to delivery teams and stakeholders
- Supporting technical assurance, reviews and engineering governance
- Working with internal teams, suppliers and external partners
- Mentoring and providing technical guidance to less experienced engineers
You will have broad Systems Engineering experience and a track record of delivering successful technical outcomes. Experience in several of the following areas would be beneficial:

- Propulsion or complex power systems
Essential Requirements
- STEM qualification at Level 4 or equivalent
- Proven experience delivering Systems Engineering activities
- Experience providing technical advice and leading Systems Engineering work
- Professional registration as IEng or RSci
- Strong Systems Thinking and stakeholder management capability
- Experience managing technical risk and working within structured engineering processes
- Ability to support and mentor other engineers
