This is an opportunity to work across the full proving and validation lifecycle, supporting the development, integration and acceptance of complex systems within a highly regulated engineering environment.

As a Systems Proving Engineer, you will work closely with systems engineering and design teams to plan, prepare and execute trials, ensuring that systems are adequately verified and that meaningful data is captured throughout the process.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Investigating and helping to resolve design and integration issues identified during testing
  • Producing trials documentation and supporting associated reviews

  • Conducting post-trial data analysis and producing technical reports
  • Supporting laboratory-based functional integration and system trials
  • Supporting ground-based, harbour and sea trials
  • Supporting live system trials and other formal proving activities
  • Supporting trials conducted both within the UK and overseas
  • Assisting with laboratory management activities including risk assessments, asset management, audits and laboratory safety
  • Supporting hardware and software configuration control
The role offers opportunities for travel within the UK and internationally, depending on project requirements.
